Highlands -Glenmorangie Lasanta 15 years is a rich and warming Highland single malt, aged for 15 years with a final maturation in Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. Its name means “warmth and passion” in Gaelic, perfectly reflecting its deep, smooth, and dessert-like character. Lasanta is Glenmorangie’s tribute to the sensuality of sherry-aged whisky, combining depth with accessibility.
Appearance: Deep golden amber with hints of mahogany. A rich and glowing hue that hints at its time in sherry wood.
Nose: Lush and expressive. Notes of sultanas, honeycomb, orange marmalade, milk chocolate, and roasted walnuts. Underneath, warm spices—cinnamon, nutmeg—and silky oak emerge.
Palate: Creamy and enveloping. Toffee, dried apricots, dates, and hazelnuts mingle with hints of brown sugar and baking spices. The mouthfeel is smooth yet substantial. A long, mellow finish brings touches of candied ginger, warm spice, and toasted oak.
Lasanta is the product of dual maturation: first in bourbon casks for softness and structure, then in hand-selected sherry casks that impart deep fruit and spice layers. Thanks to Glenmorangie’s signature tall stills, the spirit remains refined and airy, allowing sherry richness to integrate without overwhelming.
