Nicolas Perrin Côte-Rotie 2011 red
Rhone Valley - Côte-Rôtie - Red Wine -Côte-Rôtie by Nicolas Perrin is produced on the most beautiful soils of the appellation in the areas of Côte Blonde and Coteau de Tupin. These magnificent terroirs give gourmet wines, racy but also elegant with great finesse.
The wine is aged in barrels for 15 months before bottling.
The Côte-Rôtie vineyard is located around the village of Ampuis on very steep slopes. It comprises 73 classified sites. The Côte-Rôtie appellation is the pearl of Rhone wines.
This 2011 vintage has a beautiful intense garnet color. It is the notes of black fruits, vanilla and spices that dominate, on the palate the wine is very balanced, silky, long and greedy. Ready to drink, it is a nugget of the Rhone Valley that must be in its cellar.
The advice of 12bouteilles: we love serving it a little cool (16 ° C), decant at least 1 hour before tasting. You will enjoy it on grilled lamb.
