Château de Beaucastel, Hommage à Jacques Perrin 2020, is a cuvée produced by Château de Beaucastel in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation. One of the world's greatest wines, it is made only in great vintages and is produced from very old vines, on a clay-limestone and silty pebble terroir, north of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation. It is a blend of Mourvèdre (75%), Syrah (10%), Grenache (10%) and Counoise (5%).

Tasting note: 

The dress: Dark ruby

The nose: aromas of black fruits, spices, notes of ripe plums and truffles

The palate: full-bodied and rich, long and velvety finish

The advice of 12bouteilles: This very beautiful vintage of Château de Beaucastel will be able to stay in the cellar for 10 years or more! Decant it if possible before serving around 15°C.
