Rhone Valley - Gigondas - Red Wine -Domaine du Clos des Tourelles 2019 is a blend of Grenache Noir and Syrah and is characterized as a civilized version of Gigondas.
The sight: the dress is adorned with a sublime deep and intense red color with plum highlights.
The nose: offers a beautiful concentration of red fruit jams, with floral notes of violets and a slight spicy touch.
The palate: presents a great finesse accompanied by a tasty minerality. In the middle of the mouth we find black fruit aromas (blackcurrant) associated with notes of liquorice. The tannins are fine and smooth bringing a beautiful freshness, to which follows a long persistent and very elegant final.
Domaine du Clos des Tourelles is owned by the Perrin family and has 10 hectares of vineyards. The Domaine is located below the village of Gigondas, facing northwest, which allows it to benefit from an ideal micro-climate for a slow maturation of the grapes. This parcel-based cuvée, made exclusively from old vines, will please any Rhone wine lover.

The year 2019 has left its mark on the minds of many winemakers through the qualitative results of this vintage. On all the vineyards, the climatic conditions were favorable to the good development of the vine. The flowering was done in a progressive way and was able to resist perfectly to a very hot summer notably thanks to the camomile teas put in place on the vegetation. The wines of the 2019 vintage therefore promise an elegance and a unique aromatic finesse, worthy of the years in 9.
The advice 12 bouteilles: This sublime vintage produced on the most beautiful soils of the Rhone Valley will marry perfectly with red meat, poultry, mushroom or a plate of cheese. Clos des Tourelles has a great potential of guard, we recommend you to serve it at a temperature of 16°C in bottle or in carafe.
