Maison Les Alexandrins - Crozes-Hermitage 2015

Rhone Valley - Crozes-Hermitage - Red Wine -

Crozes Hermitage 2015 Maison Les Alexandrins, is a great Syrah wine produced in the Rhone Valley.

"Domaine & Maison Les Alexandrins" was born from the association of Nicolas Jaboulet, Guillaume Sorrel, and Alexandre Caso, three figures from the North of the Rhône Valley.

Maison Les Alexandrins is the natural evolution of the former Maison Nicolas Perrin. The wines of the house are both contemporary and timeless, more modern in its approach, more contemporary in style, more varied in the palette offered by the Rhone Valley. Classicism revisited.

Crozes is the largest vineyard among the northern appellations with a little more than 1300 hectares. It extends over 11 municipalities located in the Drôme on the left bank of the Rhone.

The 2015 vintage is an exceptional year for the appellations of the North of the Rhone Valley, including the AOC Crozes-Hermitage.

Crozes Hermitage 2015 presents an intense and purple dress. Fresh, the nose expresses very balanced fruity aromas. A lot of richness in the mouth, the attack is fresh with dense and supple tannins. This 2015 vintage, gourmet and balanced, reveals a finish with delicate flavors of red and black fruits with fresh and mineral notes.

The advice of 12bouteilles: A tasty now until 2021, serve this 2015 vintage between 16°C and 18°C. Delicious, as well as an aperitif with a meat or a game, we advise you to associate with a duck breast with Espelette pepper or with a chorizo risotto.

"Rather ripe, with fleshy boysenberry and blackberry puree flavors gushing through, inlaid with black licorice and Christmas pudding notes. Offers a fleshy, hedonistic finish. A little shy on cut, but the fruit is hard to deny. Drink now through 2020." - Wine Spectator, 91/100

"Bright mulberries, red plums and pepper with a toasty and spicy layer of modern oak influence. The palate has pastry-like tannins in an appealing, smooth style. Red plums to close. Drink now." - JamesSuckling.com, 91/100
