Crozes is the largest vineyard among the northern appellations with a little more than 1300 hectares. It extends over 11 municipalities located in the Drôme on the left bank of the Rhone.
The 2015 vintage is an exceptional year for the appellations of the North of the Rhone Valley, including the AOC Crozes-Hermitage.
Crozes Hermitage 2015 presents an intense and purple dress. Fresh, the nose expresses very balanced fruity aromas. A lot of richness in the mouth, the attack is fresh with dense and supple tannins. This 2015 vintage, gourmet and balanced, reveals a finish with delicate flavors of red and black fruits with fresh and mineral notes.
The advice of 12bouteilles: A tasty now until 2021, serve this 2015 vintage between 16°C and 18°C. Delicious, as well as an aperitif with a meat or a game, we advise you to associate with a duck breast with Espelette pepper or with a chorizo risotto.
