E.Guigal : Saint-Joseph 2017
Rhone Valley - Saint-Joseph - Red Wine -Produced by the famous house E.Guigal, this Saint Joseph 2017 vintage is a red wine from the Rhône valley Vinified in the Saint-Joseph appellation, this "gem" is a good choice for your table if you are looking for a wine for its taste and not its label. A wonderful bottle for Syrah lovers !
Syrah comes from vineyards between 20 and 50 years old, grown mostly in the communes of Tournon, Mauves and Sarras, in limestone and granitic sand-stony soils. The Guigal Family attaches great importance to the quality of all its wines which are excellent quality / price ratios.
The dress of this vintage 2017 vintage displays a dark red color with purplish reflections. The nose is powerful with predominant red fruits with delicate woody notes. On the palate, the attack is frank and on the fruit. The tannins rather round and supple.
The advice of 12bouteilles: Saint-Joseph 2017 vintage has excellent aging potential of about 10 years. It goes well with meats and cheeses.
