This 100% Syrah wine comes from vineyards of about 30 years old, harvested by hand. Hermitage is a lighthouse appellation increasingly popular, recognized in this beautiful wine region.
This 2017 vintage Hermitage has a beautiful deep color, ruby with purplish highlights. On the nose we discover aromas of spices and red berries and then delicate woody notes.
Tannic and massive on the palate, the palate reveals aromas of blackcurrant buds and vanilla. Final liquorice and spices.
The advice of 12bouteilles: Hermitage 2017 is a wine of guard par excellence with remarkable potential, of approximately 10 years. Very nice with lamb, red meats and cheeses.
