E.Guigal : La Landonne Côte Rôtie 2011
Rhone Valley - Côte-Rôtie - Red Wine -La Landonne is an emblematic wine of the Côte-Rôtie appellation. Produced by E.Guigal, in the Rhone Valley, La Landonne is a legendary wine, a mythical cuvee of 100% Syrah grapes made from vines of around 35 years of age.
The dress of La Landonne 2011 is an elegant black red with very dark reflections.
Its nose is an intense and powerful bouquet with aromas of black berries, hides, liquorice with notes of roasting and oriental spices.
In the mouth, the attack is powerful with a massive structure of tannins. A lot of richness and concentration in this vintage, massive and concentrated, it has a rare intensity of flavor.
A magnificent vintage noted 98-100 / 100 by Robert Parker.
The advice of 12bouteilles: This exceptional long-keeping wine, until 25 years old. Serve it between 16 and 18 ° C, it will marry wonderfully with a pheasant with figs and Porto.
