Duemani : Cifra 2013
Cifra 2013 is a red wine from the estate of Duemani, whose owners are Luca d'Atoma, giant of oenology and his wife Elena.
This Super-Tuscan, super accessible, is from a Cabernet Franc grape, raised in concrete vats. It can be enjoyed immediately as in a few years, its peak being between 2015 and 2022.
It is an extraordinary wine, dense, fine and balanced. A freshness and superb length coats the mouth. Its color is red with purplish reflections with good intensity.
This IGP Costa Toscana Appellation wine is also an excellent value for money on a 100% biodynamic estate.
This 2013 vintage was rated 93/100 by Robert Parker. "Terribly independent, and a man of haunting intensity, Luca d'Atoma is one of the best oenologists in Italy ... CIFRA is the pure expression of Cabernet Franc ..." said the critic.
Do not be surprised, its light bottle is a choice of Luca and Elena, who by choosing this container "less noble", wanted to reduce the ecological impact of their production. A rare favorite that we salute!
The advice of 12bouteilles: Open the bottle at least an hour before tasting. This wine will marry wonderfully with Italian dishes such as a tomato, basil and cheese Bruschetta or as an aperitif with a plate of cold cuts and Parmesan cheese
