Tasting notes:
The robe: pale pink, airy, with golden or orange highlights.
The nose: fragrances of citrus fruit and white flowers.
The palate: a lively attack, revealing notes of pink grapefruit, fleshy fruit and even, when the wine opens, fruit tart. The finish is complex and persistent.

Acquired in 1956 by the Ott family, Château Romassan is located in the west of the Var, in the heart of the Bandol region. The estate underwent extensive work to replant the entire vineyard and reorganize the levelled plots into restanques and terraces. The eighteenth-century Bâtisse overlooking the land was also completely restored. Now 25 years old, the vineyard is mainly planted with Mourvèdre, a grape perfectly adapted to the property's arid climate and ascetic soil. Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah are also grown. This singular soil, combined with a particularly dry, sun-drenched microclimate, gives rise to elaborate, powerful wines for laying down.
