Château de Selle 2012 red Domaines Ott
Château de Selles Rouge 2012 is a Côtes de Provence classified Cru Classé produced by the renowned Domaines Ott.
The house has three estates in two appellations but the Château de Selle is the first acquired by Marcel Ott in 1912.
Made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, this wine offers powerful, fruity wines that evolve into full-bodied, even spicy notes.
This 2012 vintage from Château de Selle is adorned with an intense garnet color.
The nose releases aromas of ripe red fruit, blueberry, cherry, blackcurrant and vanilla with slight spicy and toasty notes.
On the palate, the attack is at the same time full, rich and of a great finesse, revealing melted tannins. The finish is silky and of a good length.
The advice of 12bouteilles: Château de Selle 2012 is a seductive and fruity wine to be enjoyed now or to keep a few years in the cellar.
