

Domaine Thierry Mortet : Gevrey Chambertin 'Vignes Belles" 2017
Gevrey Chambertin "Vignes Belles" 2017 by Thierry Mortet is produced on 2 plots cultivated in this locality by the Estate, one of 40 ares, around thirty years old, the other of 30 ares of ten 'years. These vines are planted on clay-limestone soils, consisting of many small pebbles and fine clay soil.
The annual production is on average 3500 to 4000 Bottles.
The Estate converted to organic farming in 2007. The wines are aged for more than 16 months 1/3 new barrels, 1/3 barrels of one wine, and 1/3 barrels of 2 wines. The cuvée is blended at the time of bottling.
Tasting note:
The color is ruby red with carmine reflections.
The nose The nose reveals a complex aromatic bouquet of small red fruits, notes of violet and rose, nuances of spices, liquorice and undergrowth.
On the palate, the wine is full, full-bodied and structured with tannins with fine and silky grains.
