Meursault Les Chevalières 2023 is one of the most refined and mineral-driven expressions from Rémi Jobard, a domaine renowned for its precision and commitment to organic viticulture. This 2023 vintage delivers a Chardonnay of exceptional purity, tension and aromatic clarity.
Appearance: bright pale gold with silver reflections.
Nose: fresh citrus (lemon, bergamot), green apple, pear, white flowers, wet stone, fresh hazelnut and a chalky edge.
Palate: vibrant and focused, with remarkable tension. Flavours of citrus, white fruits and almond, supported by a long, saline, mineral finish.
Stony, calcareous soils – one of Meursault’s most mineral sites. Old vines farmed organically. Natural fermentations, long aging on fine lees in barrels with minimal new oak, followed by tank settling to preserve energy and purity.
Perfect with sea bass ceviche, scallops, mushroom risotto, creamy poultry dishes or aged cheeses such as Comté. Serve at 52–54°F (11–12°C).
A Meursault of great finesse and crystalline precision. Lovely in its youth but capable of aging 8 to 12 years. A brief 15-minute aeration will reveal its full aromatic dimension.
