Domaine Rémi Jobard : Volnay 1er Cru Les Santenots 2020
Burgundy - Volnay - 1er Cru - Red Wine -The Volnay 1er cru "Les Santenots" 2019 from Domaine Rémi Jobard, produced in the Volnay appellation, located in the heart of the Côte de Beaune and which is made up of predominantly limestone soils. A poor environment, which favors the water stress of the vines and which offers a good concentration of the bunches. The estate offers us here a vintage that is both charming and concentrated, which is available around a complex aromatic palette.
The Domaine Rémi Jobard wishes to produce precise and exquisite wines, this has made it make some changes since 1991 and its takeover of the estate: the work of the vine was done entirely by hand, and the yield was greatly reduced. opened the vineyard to organic farming. This series of changes brings the necessary fresh air to the Domaine and its wines. In a few years, Rémi Jobard changed his Meursault vineyard and supplied fine wines.

The color: red with ruby reflections
The nose: reveals aromas of red fruits such as cherry, currant. The years of aging will express more animal, undergrowth and prune notes.
The palate: is characterized by its frank attack, its freshness and its crunchy fruit. A wine with a very nice balance.
The advice of 12bouteilles: already a very good drinkability if you like Pinot Noir in its freshness and its crunchiness, however it is undoubtedly a vintage which deserves to wait. To keep 5 to 10 years.
