The plots are located on 7 places called the Morey Saint Denis appellation, it is produced at 9000 bottles per vintage only. Morey-Saint-Denis is an AOC located on the Burgundy Grands Crus route, between Gevrey-Chambertin and Chambolle-Musigny along the Côte de Nuits.
This 2019 Morey-Saint-Denis is a real success, with an impressive quality-price ratio.
Tasting note:
The Color: ruby wine which presents a beautiful clarity. Typical nose of the Côte de Nuits, aromas of small red fruits (cherries, raspberries). Taste examination: good balance between mellow / acid / tannins. It is an elegant and generous wine that also offers a lot of fruit in the retro-olfaction. Good length, this wine is pleasant on the finish.
Food and wine pairing:
The Morey-Saint-Denis, served at a temperature of 16 ° C, goes very well with red meats and mature cheeses.
