Burgundy - Chambolle-Musigny - Red Wine -This Chambolle-Musigny 2020 is a cuvée produced by Domaine laurent Roumier. This wine is made from five parcels located around the village, mainly composed of old vines with an average age of 35 years, worked in a traditional way. Planted on a stony terroir, this Pinot Noir produces an elegant wine with a beautiful aromatic richness.
Tasting notes:
The Robe: ruby red
Nose: notes of violet, small red fruits
The palate: full of finesse, a beautiful structure with an elegant and silky texture and fine tannins. The finish is fruity, with a great density.
The advice of 12bouteilles: This wine can be drunk young and kept between 5 and 10 years. Serving at a temperature of 15°C will perfectly accompany dishes like poultry and white meats in sauce.
The Laurent Roumier Estate, located in Chambolle-Musigny, is part of the famous George Roumier estate, founded in 1924. Today Laurent Roumier, cousin of Christophe Roumier who runs the Domaine George Roumier, owns a dozen hectares of vines with an average age of 35 years and cultivated in a reasoned manner. The vineyard extends over different appellations of Burgundy: Hautes Côtes de Nuits, Chambolle-Musigny, Bonnes-Mares and Clos Vougeot. The latter applies a traditional vinification in order to sublimate each grape variety and to highlight the richness of the terroirs of the domain.
