This Santenay "Les Terrasses de Bievaux" White 2021 is a white wine produced by Domaine Justin Girardin. Made from vines of about 30 years old, this 100% Chardonnay is located on a very steep and high terroir, favourable to Chardonnay. The soil is thin and covered with limestone marl. This wine is a marriage between the mineral freshness of the soil and an aromatic richness, a volume in the expression of primary aromas.

The robe: clear and bright yellow
The nose: yellow fruits and candied citrus peel
The palate: precise and fresh notes of fern and hazelnut

Present in Burgundy since 1570, Justin Girardin represents today the 13th generation at the head of the family estate of 17 hectares, from Santenay to Savigny-Les-Beaune. Each parcel produces a different wine with its own identity. Vigilant to the well-being of his vines, Justin and his teams work in Biodynamics, and intervene only in good time for the maintenance of the vineyard in the logic of healthy agriculture and always more respectful of its environment. 

The advice of 12bouteilles: To be served between 12°C and 14°C, it will perfectly accompany different cheeses (camembert, brie, goudas..), poultry, seafood, white meats and fish. It can be drunk now or kept for 5 to 7 years.
