Domaine Elodie Roy : Hautes Côtes de Beaune 2021

Burgundy - Haute Côte de Beaune - White Wine -

This Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Beaune 2021 is a white wine produced by the Domaine Elodie Roy. Made from vines located on a clay-limestone plateau, this 100% Chardonnay reveals a rather fresh and crystalline profile. It is also an excellent value for money from the Côte de Beaune

Tasting notes:

The robe: gold with green highlights
The nose: notes of pear, acacia honey, and lemon as well as nice touches of fresh almonds and hawthorn
The palate: full, greedy and of a beautiful freshness, it is a very balanced wine

Family estate located in Cheilly-Lès-Maranges and Santenay, south of the Côte de Beaune, Elodie Roy decided to take over the family vineyard in 2018 after spending 11 years at Domaine Anne Gros. A versatile woman, she enjoys working in the vineyard, the vat room, the breeding and sharing her passion during private tastings conducted at the estate. Today, she cultivates 10 hectares in sustainable agriculture and produces different wines, including 4 reds and 3 whites.

The advice of 12bouteilles: To be served between 10°C and 12°C, this wine will perfectly accompany white meats. It can be enjoyed from now on.
