Rhone Valley - Châteauneuf-du-Pape - Red Wine -Le Vieux Télégraphe 2023 red is a very great vintage from the Brunier family's estate in La Crau, one of the superstars of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation in a magical vintage.
Here are our tasting notes:
Color: deep ruby red.
Nose: beautiful red fruits (cherries, raspberries) as well as a mineral range of garrigue, sappy flowers, and crushed stone.
Palate: juicy and expressive, the full-bodied 2023 is immediately seductive, perfectly balanced, and remarkably elegant with a complex finish.
This 2023 vintage of Vieux Télégraphe is a blend of 70% Grenache, 15% Mourvèdre, and 15% Syrah, all aged in large oak casks.
The Brunier family's flagship wine is a perfect example of the 2023 vintage, offering great elegance and confirming the family's ongoing quest for ever more subtle and refined wines!

“Despite its extreme youth, this great Châteauneuf-du-Pape jumps out at you with its deep aromas of damp earth, ripe red fruit, and dried flowers. Rich and concentrated, yet so smooth and refined. Incredible length! I can't wait to taste this masterpiece in the bottle!”
