Clos des Lambrays 2023 is a flagship Grand Cru from Morey-Saint-Denis in the Côte de Nuits. This 2023 vintage is marked by superb ripeness, pure Pinot Noir expression and meticulous vineyard work.
Appearance: deep ruby with violet glints.
Nose: black cherry, ripe raspberry, licorice, subtle smoke, rose petal and violet nuances.
Palate: rich yet refined texture, firm but elegant tannins, vibrant acidity and a very long, saline finish of great finesse.
100% Pinot Noir. Major portion of whole-cluster fermentation, aging of ~19 months in oak barrels (approx. 20% new wood). 2023 vintage saw controlled yields and finely tuned parcellaire work across the vineyard.
Ideal with red meat in sauce, game, fine poultry, wild mushrooms or aged cheese. Serve at 60–64 °F (16–18 °C) after decanting if young.
A great cellar wine – enjoy now with decent aeration or cellar for 12 to 20 years to reveal all its depth. A must-have for Burgundy lovers and serious wine collections.
