Bouzeron 2019 comes from Aligoté vines located on the best slopes of the Domaine de Villaine Appellation. It is the only village appellation in Burgundy using Aligoté vines of so-called "golden" varieties, which give smaller yields and finer aromatic wines. Bouzeron 2019 is a lively and fruity wine with a finesse and "fullness" that are due to the authentic character of the terroir. Appreciate its freshness and "fruitiness" by drinking it young, in its first two to three years. Then, with time, the wine becomes "fat", round and has the potential to be kept for ten years or so.
Tasting notes :
Dress: yellow with golden reflections
Nose: reveals a frank and powerful nose with chalk, hedge flowers such as hawthorn, acacia and peppery notes, as well as crescent and golden brioche notes
Palate: Round and dense, it remains fresh, vibrant with mineral energy and thirst-quenching bitterness.
The advice of 12bouteilles : Serve around 12°C, as an aperitif or with seafood. It will be the perfect accompaniment to a salmon filet.
