Burgundy - Volnay - 1er Cru - Red Wine -Exclusively owned by the Domaine de la Pousse d'Or, the "Clos la Bousse d'Or" is a monopoly Premier Cru. Its terroir is composed of clay-limestone soil typical of the appellation and a parcel is surrounded by a stone wall and planted just below the town hall of Volnay.
This Volnay 1er Cru "Clos de la Bousse" 2018 is the emblem of the estate.
Tasting notes :
The dress : A luminous purple-red hue.
Nose: reveals elegance, with aromas of black cherries, crushed strawberries and wild blackberries. Sweet spices with mentholated and licorice notes complete the fragrance.
On the palate: An ample texture, with silky tannins, the wine is round and fleshy. In the mouth it reveals a very nice balance and power.
The suggestion for 12 bottles : Serve with roast poultry - Do not forget to open 1 hour before and serve between 16°C and 18°C.
