Bordeaux - Pessac-Leognan - Cru Classé - White Wine -Located in Léognan, capital of the Graves region, is the flagship product of the Pessac Léognan appellation. The Domaine is part of the elite of the Grands Crus Classés of Bordeaux. It is made from a blend of Sauvignon Blanc (75%) and Semillon (25%) grapes. The 2018 vintage experienced extreme weather conditions, however the harvested grapes are endowed with a perfect balance, combining power, concentration and freshness. An exceptional vintage promised to a superb evolution of custody
Tasting notes :
the robe : very beautiful pale yellow color with greenish reflections
The nose : beautiful complexity, it opens on notes of fruits with summer perfumes (peach, apricot) and exotic with floral and woody notes
The palate: presents a beautiful unctuous texture, we find a lot of richness with fruity notes which keep a great freshness and a beautiful tension. A powerful wine that stretches into a persistent length and finesse with a mineral character.
The 12bouteilles advice : A wine with good ageing potential. Serve it around 10-12°C as an aperitif or with dessert
