Domaine de Chevalier 2016 Red
The Domaine de Chevalier, flagship product of the Pessac Léognan appellation, belongs to the elite Grands Crus Classés of Bordeaux. Located in Léognan, capital of the Graves, the Domaine de Chevalier is of very ancient origin. Made from a blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot grapes, this 2016 vintage is already a great wine, praised by wine experts.
This 2016 vintage has a dark, intense, purple color. Its nose is an aromatic bouquet, subtle and complex, of blackberry, cedar, accompanied by smoky notes and a slight minerality. On the palate, this scoop is moderately full-bodied with very fine tannins, a magnificent structure.
Of a beautiful complexity, this red wine of Domaine de Chevalier has a lot of elegance, charm and finesse, already a great vintage!
The advice of 12bouteilles: This great wine is to decant and decant 1 to 2 hours before tasting.
"This is an exceptional Domaine de Chevalier of the busiest man in Bordeaux, Oliver Bernard, evaluated twice with consistent notes." - Robert Parker
