Domaine Gueguen : Chablis 1er Cru Vosgros 2021
Burgundy - Chablis - 1er Cru - White Wine -2021 is a vintage that has experienced particular climatic conditions, notably because of the frost. However, the winegrowers concentrated more on the work of vinification in order to offer a product worthy of the region.
The result of the 2021 vintage is even surprising with fresh wines as well as lower degrees of alcohol than the previous years. The aromatic palette is precise, with a very expressive fruit where we really have this sensation of going back to the classics of Burgundy.
Domaine Gueguen is located in the heart of the Chablis vineyard, and has a surface of 36 hectares composed of different grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Sauvignon and Pinot Noir. Cécile and Frédéric, the owners of the estate, decided to embark on this adventure by creating this magnificent estate. It is thus in 2013 that Domaine Gueguen is born to write a new page in the history of wine.
Chablis 1er Cru Vosgros 2021 is an exceptional dry white wine produced from the best terroirs of Burgundy. This 100% Chardonnay single variety wine is essentially characterized by its finesse, freshness and minerality.
Tasting notes: CHABLIS 1er CRU VOSGROS 2021
Sight: reveals a pretty golden color, rather light and brilliant.
The nose: offers aromas of white flowers such as acacia, as well as light notes of citrus fruits
The mouth: is particularly fine and of an absolute elegance. We find perfectly these flavors of white flowers that we have in the nose. The mid-palate is supple, straight but also contains a silky fruitiness followed by a long aromatic finish.
The advice 12bottles: This Chablis 1er Cru is a real pleasure wine, to be drunk for any occasion. It will be perfectly associated with seafood salads, pan-fried scallops or even snails of Burgundy. We recommend that you serve this wine at a temperature of 10-12 degrees
