‘Presse Verticale 429’ vintage 2023 is a Burgundy wine from the Boris Champy estate. Produced from 100% Aligoté from old, low-yielding mass selection vines, offering beautiful maturity. The vines are located on small plots at an altitude of over 400 metres, benefiting from a wide variety of marl and clay soils on limestone slabs. A vertical press allows for slow and gentle pressing to obtain high-quality juice.
Tasting notes:
Colour: beautiful golden yellow with greenish highlights.
Nose: complex aromas dominated by notes of lychee, grapefruit and honeysuckle.
Palate: charming, round, elegant, with beautiful mineral liveliness and complex structure.
12bouteilles advice: A superb gastronomic wine, ready to drink now, to be served chilled between 10°C and 12°C. This wine is the perfect accompaniment to a seafood platter, smoked salmon or a cheese platter.
Located in the rolling hills of Burgundy, Domaine Boris Champy is an iconic wine estate that embodies the very essence of the art of winemaking. Since its foundation, this family-run estate has earned an enviable reputation for producing wines of exceptional quality. The vines stretch over hectares of privileged terroir, benefiting from a unique microclimate and mineral-rich soil, allowing the grapes to ripen elegantly and develop subtle aromas.
