Rhone Valley - Châteauneuf-du-Pape - Red Wine -Arbousset – Cuvée Lieu-Dit Baratin Red 2022 is a distinctive red wine from Châteauneuf-du-Pape, produced from a specific plot of land cultivated with great care. This Baratin cuvée fully expresses the character of the grape variety and the specific plot, in a precise, rich style deeply rooted in its terroir. A wine of character, at once fruity, elegant and distinguished. A wine from a specific lieu-dit, Baratin, on marl and limestone soils, benefiting from a warm Mediterranean climate and significant daily temperature variations.
Hand-harvested, with rigorous selection of grapes at optimal ripeness. The vinification process incorporates a proportion of whole bunches to preserve the freshness and vibrancy of the fruit. The ageing is a true work of art: it takes place over a long period, skilfully combining barriques, demi-muids and glass demijohns – a bold choice that preserves the absolute purity of the fruit without weighing it down with wood.

Colour: A beautiful, intense and deep purple colour, adorned with luminous violet highlights that reflect its youthful vigour.

Palate: The attack reveals a masterful balance between finesse and depth. The wine is elegant and textured, supported by remarkably silky tannins. The whole builds towards a lingering, complex and charming finish.
Le conseil 12bouteilles : This wine pairs perfectly with: beef fillet en croûte, lamb tagines, roast leg of lamb with herbs, dishes in mild spiced sauces, grilled meats, mature cheeses or roasted vegetables. Serving temperature: 16–18°C.
Arbousset – Cuvée Lieu-Dit Baratin Red is already a very appealing wine, but it will benefit from being tasted after a short aeration (30–45 mins). It can be enjoyed within 5–10 years for those who appreciate structured yet elegant red wines from the South.
