Domaine Abbatucci: Faustine Vielles Vignes Blanc 2020
Corse - White Wine -The Faustine Vieilles Vignes Blanc 2020 cuvée is produced by Abbatucci Domain in "Vin de France". It comes from a plot selection of vines that are 40 years old on average driven in biodynamic culture.
Full of freshness and all in wild fruit, with great sapidity, Faustine old vines is a 100% Vermentino cuvée.
Harvested by hand at full maturity and very early in the morning, each berry is carefully sorted in the vineyard and then in the cellar, followed by direct pressing in full harvest. The alcoholic fermentation, on the other hand, is carried out in a thermoregulated stainless steel tank, in the same way as aging on lees, which lasts 6 months.
This 2020 vintage is first and foremost expressed by a pretty pale yellow dress with golden highlights. The palate, on the other hand, seduces us with its finesse, freshness and beautiful fat / acidity balance. The dominant aromatic anise blends with very nice notes of white flower, backed by a soft and lingering minerality.
