The vintages of the House of Dom Pérignon owe their singularity to the way they evolve through different expressions. These moments are called "Plenitude", moments when the wine reveals the best of its potential.
Tasting notes:
The robe: golden, very fine bubbles
The Nose: Discreet but more clearly defined in this vintage. Pink grapefruit and blood orange finally give way to fig. The extra time on the lees sublimates the minerality of the vintage in a glorious maturity, the signature of Dom Pérignon: cocoa, mocha, roasted notes, brioche and honey.
The palate: The wine plays on the edge evolving between tension and weightlessness. The precision is extreme, tactile, dark and chiselled. The whole persists, racy on a serene, liquorice line.
Dom Pérignon is certainly one of the greatest champagne houses, known both for its name and for the incredible quality of the champagnes it offers. Each year is a challenge for Dom Pérignon to create the best possible cuvee using only the best grapes that will bring a unique interpretation of each season. The advice of 12bouteilles: Presented in its box, this great Champagne Dom Pérignon cuvée Plénitude 2 is to be drunk now or to be kept in the cellar until 2030. Perfect as an aperitif, it also goes wonderfully well with poultry, fish, shellfish and cheese. It should be drunk chilled, between 8°C and 10°C.
