William Deutz 2014 is one of the most iconic prestige cuvées of the Deutz Champagne house. Crafted predominantly from Pinot Noir sourced from top Grand Cru villages such as Aÿ, Ambonnay and Bouzy, this cuvée displays depth, structure and remarkable refinement. The 2014 vintage offers outstanding purity, freshness and aromatic precision.
Appearance: bright pale gold with a fine and persistent mousse.
Nose: ripe yellow fruits, mirabelle plum, citrus zest, white flowers, delicate brioche and a subtle smoky note reflecting the great Pinot Noir terroirs.
Palate: ample and precise, chalky Pinot Noir tension, flavours of peach, orange zest, fresh hazelnut and gentle spice. Long, harmonious and chiselled finish.
Pinot Noir dominant blend, complemented by Chardonnay from top Côte des Blancs vineyards. Stainless-steel fermentation, extended lees aging and strict parcel selection. 2014 is a vintage of perfect balance between ripeness and mineral freshness.
Ideal with roasted sea bass, seared scallops, premium poultry, creamy risotto or aged hard cheeses. Serve at 48–52°F (9–11°C).
A great gastronomic Champagne showcasing the nobility of Pinot Noir. Superb now but capable of aging 10 to 20 years for deeper, toasty and honeyed complexity.
