Les Launes 2023 is one of Delas Frères’ signature cuvées in Crozes-Hermitage. Sourced mainly from Syrah grown on stony alluvial soils and granite sands, this wine perfectly reflects the Delas style: expressive fruit, freshness, balance and finesse. The 2023 vintage is bright, harmonious and particularly enjoyable.
Appearance: deep purple with violet hues.
Nose: blackberry, blackcurrant, violet, black pepper, black olive, smoky notes and licorice.
Palate: smooth attack, fine tannins, juicy and dynamic texture. Flavours of dark fruits, spices and floral hints. Fresh, elegant and persistent finish.
100% Syrah. Parcel selection from both northern and southern Crozes-Hermitage. Traditional fermentation, 2–3 weeks maceration, aging in tanks and partly in barrels to maintain fruit purity.
Perfect with duck breast, grilled ribeye, caramelized pork ribs, Provençal vegetables or aged cheeses. Serve at 60–63°F (16–17°C).
A perfect introduction to the Delas style: intense yet approachable, structured yet deliciously fruity. Enjoy now or cellar 5 to 7 years. 20 minutes of aeration recommended.
