Delas : Côte Rôtie La Landonne 2016
Le Côtie Rôtie La Landonne 2016 est un grand vin de la Maison Delas.
On this AOC, located at the northern end of the Rhone Valley, the very famous cuvée "La Landonne" of Delas Frères (100% Syrah) is a plot selection whose production hardly exceeds 2,500 bottles per year, exclusively in the great years.
In the eye, the very intense dress is strongly marked by purple reflections. The nose, complex and deep, develops aromas predominantly fruity, supported by hints of liquorice and roasting. With a dense and silky tannic structure, this fleshy and full wine offers a generous and generous mouth. Its final, of a great persistence, suggests a very high potential of guard.
Rated 95-97+/100 par Jeb Dunnuck :
The flagship 2016 Cote Rotie la Landonne is certainly on another lever and match the 2015. Deep Purple colored and heavenly perfumed, with notes of black raspberries, violets, vanilla spice, incense and flowers. It's full bodied, ripe, seamless and structured. It shows the more elegant style of the vintage. Need time !
Rated 92-95/100 par Robert Parker :
The 2016 Cote Rotie la Landonne will need a few years after release to resolve some of its rough edges. There's plenty of raspberry fruit to handle it, as well as those classic notes of black olive and tar to add complexity. Lovely grilled meat and tea-like nuances emerge on the finish
Le conseil de 12bouteilles : an exceptional wine that requires a minimum of three years of care to flourish and offer its complexity. Beyond this time of guard, the passage in carafe is highly recommended.
