Delamotte Blanc de Blancs

Founded in 1760 in the heart of the Côte des Blancs, this beautiful house is now attached to the Laurent Perrier group. Delamotte champagnes are well known to chardonnay lovers. All plots of Delamotte champagnes are classified Grand Cru, proof of the excellence of the house.
Delamotte Blanc de Blancs is a large Champagne 100% Chardonnay from chalky soils, typical of Champagne. It is known for its floral and fresh flavors. This vintage is assembled with a maximum of 10% of reserve wines. Aging on slats extends from 4 to 5 years to sublimate the finesse and elegance of this vintage.
This Blanc de Blancs champagne is very mineral. The nose opens on a pretty aromatic bouquet with delicate notes of fruit and brioche. The palate is greedy and fresh with a nice minerality.
The advice of 12bouteilles: A great Champagne that is suitable for aperitifs or at the table, with oysters or a grilled fish. Serve it cool around 12 ° C.
« Superbe nez qui évoque la moisson, la paille chaude, pomme golden, bouche tendue, vive, craie, finale agrumes. Un vin qui allie maturité et finesse. » - Le point
« The NV Brut Blanc de Blancs is soft, generous and very pretty in its expression of varietal fruit. Full malolactic fermentation and base of 2002 wine makes this an especially round Blanc de Blancs. This bottling is mostly sourced from vineyards in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger (2/3) with the rest coming from Avize and Cramant. This wine sees 5 years on the lees instead of 7 for the vintage. The NV Blanc de Blanc is not imported into the US, but is available in other markets. This bottle was disgorged in early 2008. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2011. » - Wine Advocate-Parker 89/100
