Cuvelier los Andes Grand Vin 2013

Mendoza - Red Wine -

Cuvelier Los Andes is the Bodega that the Cuvelier family owner of Château Léoville Poyferré had built in Argentina.

Directed by Bertrand and Jean-Guy Cuvelier the bodega is located in Valle de Uco, Vista Flores, Tunuyan, at altitude in the foothills of the Andes.

The Cuvlier Los Andes Grand Vin 2013 vintage is a blend of 79% of Malbec, 12% of Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% Shiraz

This wine is made with the help and advice of Michel Rolland.

Vinification: 7 to 10 days at 28 ° C in stainless steel vats. Once the vats are full, the grapes undergo a maceration before the alcoholic fermentation begins. It takes between 30 and 40 days.
Aging: 100% in French oak barrels for 12 months.
Tasting: Intense, light red-violet color, the various aromas of ripe red fruits, with hints of vanilla reflect a great complexity. A sweet and sweet palate with soft tannins.

The advice of 12bouteilles.com: Open the bottle and if possible decant at least 2 hours before the tasting so that the aromas regain their fullness. Serve chilled around 18 ° C. this bottle will be perfect with game of red meats and powerful cheeses.
