Cuvelier los Andes Coleccion 2012

In 2001, the Cuvelier Family had a bodega built in Argentina, owned by Bertrand and Jean-Guy Cuvelier. Cuvelier Los Andes was born. It is located in Uco Valley, Vista Flores, Tunuyán, at altitude in the foothills of the Andes.
The 2012 vintage Colección is a combination of varietals: Malbec 64%, Cabernet Sauvignon 15%, Merlot 11%, Syrah 6% and Petit Verdot 4%.
This wine is made with the help and advice of Michel Rolland.
Vinification: 7 to 10 days at 28 ° C in stainless steel vats. Once the vats are full, the grapes undergo a maceration before the alcoholic fermentation begins. It takes between 30 and 40 days.
Aging: 60% in French oak barrels for 12 months.
Tasting: A complex and expressive nose of blackberry, raised by a mineral side. The wine is flattering and powerful on the palate. It offers velvety texture and round tannins. Its finish is persistent.
The advice of 12bouteilles.com: Open the bottle and if possible decant it at least 1 hour before the tasting so that the aromas regain their fullness. Serve chilled around 18 ° C. This bottle will be perfect with a duck breast, an "entrecôte à la bordelaise".
