Les Pagodes de Cos 2014

Bordeaux - Saint-Estèphe - 2nd Wine - Red Wine -

The Pagodes de Cos is the second wine of the Château Cos d'Estournel, 2nd Cru Classé of Saint Estèphe, in the center of a hilly area of the North Medoc.

Although it is the second wine of the Château, the Pagodes de Cos is a Grand Cos d'Estournel, a very nice alternative that has all the qualities and elegance of its elder, at a more attractive price.

Made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes with a touch of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, this 2014 vintage is a pleasure wine, balanced perhaps the best Pagodes de Cos produced in recent years.

Pagodes de Cos 2014 is adorned with a beautiful garnet red color.

The nose has aromas of black fruits, woods and vanilla.

In the mouth, the attack is generous, velvety with a lot of charm and a great precision. The tannins are crisp, fresh and silky, both fine and complex.

The advice of 12 bottles: Open at least 1 hour before serving and decant carafe to allow it to release all the aromas. To be served at a temperature between 17 and 18 ° C.
