Les Pagodes de Cos 2016
Bordeaux - Saint-Estèphe - 2e Cru Classé - Red Wine -The Pagodes de Cos is the second wine of the Château Cos d'Estournel, 2nd Cru Classé of Saint Estèphe, in the center of a hilly area of the North Medoc.
Although it is the second wine of the Château, the Pagodes de Cos is a Grand Cos d'Estournel, a very nice alternative that has all the qualities and elegance of its elder, at a more attractive price.
Made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes with a touch of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, this 2016 vintage is a pleasure, balanced and voluptuous wine.
Pagodes de Cos 2016 is adorned with a beautiful ruby colored dress, its nose of great greediness, releases aromas of black fruits. On the palate, the palate is generous and velvety with a lot of charm and a great precision. The tannins are crisp, fresh and silky, both fine and complex. A very promising vintage, rich and rare, which delivers a finish of a good length.
The advice of 12bouteilles: This Pagodes de Cos 2016 will give you a moment of pleasure after a few years in the cellar. Open at least 1 hour before serving and decant carafe to allow it to be sufficiently ventilated. We recommend serving it at a temperature between 17 and 18 ° C.
