Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc 2024

White Wine -

In this New Zealand cuvée, the 2024 Sauvignon Blanc from Cloudy Bay delivers a brilliant and refined expression of a great Marlborough white wine, emblematic of the Sauvignon Blanc grape. Here is our tasting note:

Appearance: crystal-clear pale yellow with silver highlights.
Nose: elegant and restrained, gradually revealing notes of lime, kaffir lime leaf, fresh apricot, and orange blossom.
Palate: intense and juicy, combining passion fruit, citrus, white stone fruits, and floral hints of pink pepper and hibiscus. The finish is long, saline, and vibrant with citrus freshness.

The Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc 2024 is made from the finest grapes grown on well-drained gravelly soils in Marlborough’s Wairau Valley (Estate, Motukawa, Widow’s Block, Red Shed, and Mustang vineyards). Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with 1.5% fermented at higher temperature in large oak barrels, and a portion fermented with wild yeast to add texture and complexity. Of the 81 lots tasted, only the best 55 were selected for the final blend.

With its precision, aromatic complexity, and mineral tension, this 2024 vintage embodies Cloudy Bay’s signature elegance and purity. A must-have for lovers of refined Sauvignon Blanc.

12bouteilles' Tip: Serve between 10 and 12°C. Ideal as an aperitif, or with seafood, ceviche, sushi, or a citrus salad. Best enjoyed now or within the next 2 to 3 years.
