Te Koko 2015 is a beautiful white wine produced by the New Zealand Winery Cloudy Bay.
In 2015, the Sauvignon Blanc for Te Koko was sourced from some of our oldest vines across four distinguished vineyards. The vineyards are located within the sub-regions of Rapaura and Renwick. These vineyards yield intense fruit with powerful structure. True to Marlborough, the soils are predominantly comprised of free draining gravels that have a particular affinity for Sauvignon Blanc, producing grapes with high concentration and elegant, pure-fruited aromatics.
Considered to be the purest expression of the Marlborough region's terroir, Sauvignon Blanc Cloudy Bay is made from nine different plots and is created from grapes harvested in the cool of the evening and hand-handled to preserve their aromas.
This 100% White Sauvignon varietal wine reveals a complex and fruity nose with aromas of citrus, grapefruit and white nectarines accompanied by floral and lemony notes.
The palate is fresh with nectarine flavors, iced fruit and light jasmine notes.
