On the nose, ripe black fruits emerge, blackberry, blackcurrant, cherry, then woody and liquorice notes.
On the palate, the attack is frank, very fruity, associated with a good length with a lot of freshness. the finish is elegant with very silky tannins.
A great wine to keep for years in your cellar.
Blend: 90% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Cabernet Franc
50% aging in new barrels.
The advice of 12bouteilles : A wine that deserves to wait a few years in your cellar before being opened. Decant the bottle at least 6 hours before, serve the wine chilled around 18°C. It will go wonderfully with your red meats and cheeses.
