Bordeaux - Saint-Julien - Red Wine -This Clos du Marquis 2019 is a charming wine with all the finesse of the great wines of Saint Julien.
To the eye the color is dark purple.
The nose, intense, aromatic, gives off notes of black fruits such as blackcurrant, cherry and blueberry.
On the palate, the wine is of great finesse, with very present ripe tannins masked by a beautiful length in the mouth.
The blend is made up of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Merlot and 7% Cabernet Franc.
Clos du Marquis belongs to the Delon family, which also owns Château Léoville Las cases in Saint Julien, Château Potensac in the Médoc and Château Nénin in Pomerol.
The advice of 12bouteilles : Clos du Marquis 2019 is a wine that will have to wait a few years before reaching maturity. If you decide to taste it, decant the bottle at least 2 hours before tasting, it will go wonderfully with your red meats. Serve chilled around 16°C
