On the palate, it is the finesse of the wine that surprises because despite the still tight tannins, the balance is perfect between the freshness and the incredible length.
The 96% noir, 2% Mourvèdre and 2% blend comes from a single plot of old vines on the southern slope of an east-west facing hill.
The plot is crossed more than 200 days a year by an icy wind coming from the northwest.
