"Le Clos des Fées" 2015 is a great red wine from the estate of the same name, made in AOC Côtes du Roussillon Villages.

Made from a blend of 50% Syrah, 25% Grenache Blanc, 15% Carignan and 10% Mourvèdre, the 2014 vintage of "Clos des Fées" displays a black, opaque color.

This vintage delivers to the nose an intense and complex bouquet. Powerful and concentrated, extremely tasty, the perfect balance between fruit, acidity and freshness make it a 5 * wine from Languedoc. The finish is long and persistent.

Eighteen months in new French oak barrels has given the 2015 Côtes du Roussillon Villages le Clos des Fées a certain tightness and discipline lacking in the Vieilles Vignes bottling. There's still massive fruit and buried complexity, full body and rich tannins, but there's also firmness of structure that shows the serious, age-worthy side of Bizeul's winemaking. Vanilla and baking spices accent deep, dark cherries and plums, ending in a long, velvety finish.

The advice of 12bouteilles: Delicious the year after bottling, if you like young and powerful wines and if you take care to carafe it. It acquires little by little its mature characters while preserving its fruit (Potential of guard 8 to 15 years). Be sure to decant absolutely, before serving between 16 ° C and 18 ° C. This red goes well with duck, game and red meat.
