The 2019 vintage is a marvel, a wine of reference on the vintage in Argentina. Cheval des Andes, Argentina's Grand Cru, is the fruit of two cultures blending the vision and know-how of Château Cheval Blanc with the high altitude viticulture in the Mendoza region where Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon, subject to a demanding climate, come together at the foot of the Cordillera.

Cheval des Andes 2019 is the 20th vintage of the vineyard, it is the vintage of maturity, the first to achieve the perfect blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Malbec, the objective stated by the technical teams of Chateau Cheval Blanc at the creation of this vintage in the foothills of the Argentinean mountains.
For this 2019 vintage, the maturation was carried out in 40% 225-liter barrels, 40% 400-liter barrels and 20% in 2500-liter tuns, with 50% new wood.

The Dress: deep ruby red and bright.
The nose: it immediately reveals an aromatic intensity of a rare complexity. Under slightly reduced notes at the beginning, the evolution in the glass is marked by aromas of red and black fruits enhanced by a touch of pepper. The presence of brioche and toasted notes completes this bouquet which is typical of great wines in their youth.
In the mouth: the wine is marked by a beautiful presence of Cabernet Sauvignon which gives it a beautiful controlled power where the elegance of the tannins is remarkable. A nice fatness brought by the malbec comes to coat this exceptional matrix.
