Mondot 2006
Bordeaux - Saint-Émilion - 2nd Wine - Red Wine -Mondot 2006 is a very typical Bordeaux wine.
Second wine of Grand Cru Classé Château Troplong Mondot at Saint Emilion, it pleases both for its power and for its fruits well present. That's why we tasted it and selected it. Little known this 2006 is a success, balanced, flattering, complex and suave and offering a nice potential of guard around a racy frame like the Grand Cru Classé which it comes. More accessible than is eldest, Mondot 2006 remains powerful and will be perfect on beautiful red meats such as a rib of beef or duck aiguillettes.
The advice of 12bouteilles: Remember to decant it in the carafe 1 to 2 hours before the tasting, in order to reveal its aromas.
