Discover Château Talbot 2010!
Grand Cru Classé Saint-Julien (Médoc), the Château Talbot stretches over 107 hectares of vines in culture in the commune of Saint-Julien, appellation out of the ordinary since it does not contain less than 11 classified crus.
Ideally located on the banks of the Gironde estuary on the alluvial slopes of the Massif Central by the Dordogne and the Pyrenees by the Garonne, the terroir of Château Talbot is exceptional.
The holding of the vineyard is one of the most irreproachable Médoc. The wines, followed by Nancy Bignon-Cordier with the precious advice of oenologist Jacques Boissenot and consultant Stéphane Derenoncourt, are regularly opulent but very elegant. Their open character and silky tannins allow them to be enjoyed young as after long cellaring. Over time, they develop a delicate and complex aromatic bouquet of cedar and havana.
This 2010 vintage is dense, fine, reveals a slightly aggressive mid-palate and a little bitterness in the final
The 12bouteilles advice: A wine of guard, for 15 to 20 years, it enters its range of tasting in 2015. Serve it between 14 ° and 16 ° to release its best potential.
