Bordeaux - Pessac-Leognan - 2nd Wine - White Wine -Proposed in the 2017 vintage, Les Hauts de Smith white is the second wine of Château Smith Haut Lafitte in Pessac-Léognan. This second varietal wine, 100% Sauvignon Blanc, is one of the best second white wines of the appellation and an excellent value for money.
Developed during the blending of Château Smith Haut Lafitte, all the production techniques of the Hauts de Smith are identical to those of the Great Wine, vinified and aged with the same know-how and care.
The 2017 vintage is adorned with a bright, bright yellow color. Open, the nose expresses complex scents of citrus fruits and white flesh with delicate floral notes.
Tender and dynamic on the palate, Les Hauts de Smith 2017 has a nice acidity and a lot of freshness. The palate, deliciously greasy and unctuous, has aromas of white fruits, lemon, grapefruit with great complexity brought by floral notes.
The advice of 12bouteilles: Ready to drink, serve it fresh as an aperitif or with a fish.
