Owned by the Wertheimer family (Chanel), who also own Château Canon in Saint Emilion, Château Rauzan-Ségla is a Margaux 2nd Cru Classé. The property, which has been in existence for 350 years, is constantly being modernised. It now covers 69 hectares, part of which is cultivated according to the principles of organic farming. The estate's grape varieties are as follows: 61% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Merlot, 1% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot. Château Rauzan-Ségla 2018 is a typical wine of the Margaux appellation.

Tasting notes :

Colour : a magnificent red colour with purple tints.

Nose: reveals delicate aromas of red and black fruits with a touch of liqorice.

The palate: full and intense with a nice freshness, the wine develops tasty fruity notes but remains balanced.

The advice for 12bouteilles : A wine with good ageing potential. Goes well with game meat.
