Château Quintus 2022 stands as a remarkable expression from one of Saint-Émilion’s most exciting contemporary estates. Located on prestigious Right Bank terroirs, Quintus delivers a wine of structure, elegance and aromatic depth. The generous yet finely balanced 2022 vintage reveals the full signature of this unique site.
Appearance: deep ruby with violet highlights.
Nose: intense and elegant aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, dark cherry, floral tones, fine spice, graphite, tobacco and delicate toasty notes.
Palate: broad and layered with refined tannins, dense but poised texture, vibrant freshness and a long, expressive finish.
Gravelly clay-sandy soils typical of Saint-Émilion. Blend dominated by Merlot, complemented by Cabernet Franc and sometimes Cabernet Sauvignon, contributing structure, lift and complexity.
Hand-harvested fruit, meticulous sorting and parcel vinification. Aged in French oak barrels with a measured proportion of new oak to enhance structure without overpowering the fruit.
Perfect with roasted beef, lamb, game birds, duck or aged cheeses. Serve at 60–64 °F (16–18 °C). Decant 1–2 hours when young.
Château Quintus 2022 is a powerful, refined and age-worthy Saint-Émilion. Delicious now with aeration or cellar for 15–25 years.
