Château Prieuré-Lichine 2011

Château Prieuré Lichine 2011 is one of the gems of the vintage in Margaux. The wines of the famous feminine appellation find here the quintessence of this femininity.
The color is deep ruby, the bouquet is complex with floral notes, raspberries, black cherries intermixed with hints of spice. On the palate, the wines are rich, rather impressive but above all of a soft and a perfect finesse. An undeniable success in the vintage.
A taste in my 10 years after bottling.
This Château Prieuré-Lichine 2011 comes from a blend of vines whose vines are on average 30 years old, composed of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. The quality of the merlots makes it a wine of incredible finesse.
The advice of 12bouteilles: Open it at least 30 minutes before serving. This Château Prieuré-Lichine 2011 is a marvelous accompaniment to meat and poultry, we suggest you to taste it with a roasted Pigeon with garlic and a fricassee of mushrooms.
The vineyard of Château Prieuré-Lichine, Margaux's 4th Classified Growth, covers 77.5 hectares in the heart of the Margaux appellation. The winemaker, Etienne Charrier, produces wines with elegant and racy profiles.
